COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UCCS’s Kim Catlett was voted by the RMAC sports information directors as the RMAC Volleyball Academic Player of the Year on Thursday.
 
Catlett joins 13 other RMAC volleyball players on the All-Academic First Team, which was also voted on by the league’s sports information directors.
 
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade points average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters.
 
All student-athletes that meet those requirements, but were not voted to the All-Academic First Team automatically qualified for the Honor Roll.
 
Catlett, a senior outside hitter from Fort Collins, Colo., boasts a 3.56 GPA while majoring in Health Care Science. She leads the conference in kills (4.51 per set), while notching a .201 hitting percentage. Earlier this year she earned RMAC Offensive Player of the Week.
 
She earned First Team All-RMAC honors last season.
