COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- Games featuring the defending national champions, the oldest rivalry in NCAA Division II football and the newest stadium in the conference highlight the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s television schedule for 2015.

The action begins on Thursday, September 3 as Fort Lewis visits Montana State in Bozeman for a 7:05 MDT kickoff on the Altitude Sports Network. FLC head coach John L. Smith is no stranger to the Big Sky Conference as he played collegiately at Weber State and coached at Idaho from 1989-1994, leading the Vandals to a pair of Big Sky titles.

That same weekend on Saturday, September 5 at 5 p.m. MDT, the defending national champion CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves open their season at home against Central Washington. This game is being produced by the American Sports Network along with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and will be the debut of the DII Football Showcase on ASN. This game will also be available on Altitude 2.

On Saturday, September 12, ESPN and the NCAA will feature the South Dakota School of Mines Hardrockers and Black Hills State Yellow Jackets at 6 p.m. in Rapid City, S.D. This game will be distributed on ESPN3 and is the kickoff game for the NCAA DII Game of the Week Series.  The “Black Hills Brawl” is the oldest rivalry between two schools in NCAA DII as this is the 130th meeting between the two programs. The winner receives the Homestake Trophy.

In October, Comcast Entertainment Television (CET) will broadcast a pair of RMAC football games on its Xfinity channel.
On Saturday, October 3 New Mexico Highlands visits the brand new Marv Kay Stadium in Golden to take on Colorado Mines for a noon kickoff.

The following week on Saturday, October 10, Fort Lewis visits CSU-Pueblo for a 2 p.m. start at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl in Pueblo. FLC handed the Pack their only loss in the 2014 season.

In addition, all other RMAC football home games will be available via live streaming at no charge via Stretch Internet.

This is also the start of the RMAC’s 12th year partnering with the Altitude Sports Network, the most watched regional sports network in the Rocky Mountain region. The conference’s flagship show, “RMAC Showcase” debuts the last Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. and averages another 12-14 airings each month on Altitude.
