COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- Colorado Mesa and Regis earn byes to the semifinals in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men’s soccer tournament with wins in the final week of the regular season.

No.16 Colorado Mesa took the one seed with a 3-2 overtime victory over Regis and a 0-0 draw against South Dakota Mines. The Mavericks end the regular season with 38 points and a 12-0-2 conference record.

As the one seed, Colorado Mesa will host the RMAC men’s soccer tournament semifinals and finals in Grand Junction, Colorado. The Mavericks have earned a bye into the semifinals of the six-team tournament, and will host the winner of the Colorado Mines and MSU Denver quarterfinal matchup on November 4. Kickoff for the first semifinal game is 4 p.m.

No.23 Regis earned three points in a 5-2 win over Westminster on the final day of the regular season to secure the two seed in the RMAC tournament. The Rangers finished the regular season with a 10-3-1 conference record and 31 points.

Regis will also have a bye into the semifinals in Grand Junction, Colorado with the two seed. The Rangers will play the winner of the UCCS and Fort Lewis quarterfinal on November 4. Kickoff for the second semifinal game is set for 7 p.m.

UCCS earned the three seed, gaining six points this week with an 1-0 win over Fort Lewis and 5-1 win against Adams State. The Mountain Lions two wins give them 30 points and a 10-4 conference record. They will host a rematch with Fort Lewis in the quarterfinals on November 2. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Fort Lewis fell to MSU Denver in its second game of this past week 2-0. The Skyhawks will be the sixth seed in the RMAC tournament with 25 points.

The Mountain Lions have only conceded 23 goals in 18 games this season while scoring 31. The Skyhawks have scored 32 goals on the year while only giving up 25.

Colorado Mines won both its games this week in shutout fashion with a 6-0 win over Colorado Christian and 3-0 victory over CSU-Pueblo. The Orediggers ended the regular season with 29 points and a 9-3-2 conference record. They will host the five seed MSU Denver in the quarterfinals in Golden, Colorado. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. on November 2.

MSU Denver also won both its games without conceding a goal in the final week of the regular season. The Roadrunners defeated Adams State 3-0 before earning a 2-0 victory over Fort Lewis on Sunday. They end the regular season with 28 points and a 9-4-1 conference record.

The Orediggers have scored 41 goals this season to lead the RMAC, while giving up the second least amount, only conceding 13 times all year. MSU Denver has given up 23 goals on the year while scoring 1.89 per game.
