Mesa State Baseball Headed to NCAA Championships
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Mesa State College defeated Wayne State College, 8-2, Sunday afternoon at Suplizio Field in the NCAA Central Regional Championship game to advance to the eight-team tournament May 23-30 in Cary, N.C.
The Mavericks went 4-0 in the tournament defeating CSU-Pueblo Thursday (17-6), N.M. Highlands on Friday (15-13), Wayne State on Saturday (14-7) and WSC again on Sunday.
