University of the Incarnate Word Wins 2009 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championships
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – February 21, 2009 – University of the Incarnate Word won both the men’s and women’s 2009 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championship titles at the Josh Davis Natatorium in San Antonio, Texas. This was the first RMAC Swimming & Diving championship meet since 1984. The three day meet was hosted by Incarnate Word.

Both men’s and women’s swimming & diving have been officially added as Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) sports starting in the 2008-09 school year. The RMAC has not sponsored swimming & diving since it was discontinued as a conference sport in 1984.
