Hall of Fame
Coached by RMAC Hall of Famer Joe Vigil, the Adams State men’s cross country teams established a dynasty, winning seven consecutive NAIA national championships in 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1989. These teams also captured the RMAC titles in those same years. In 1983, six All-Americans led ASC to the the national title. Peter Graham, Dave Cuadrado, Jerry Arguilo, Robbie Hipwood, Robert Ferguson and Dan Hugill were all honored. Graham was also the individual RMAC champion.
