COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Nov. 15, 2014 -- The 2014 RMAC Football Championship will be split between co-champions Colorado State University-Pueblo and Colorado School of Mines. Both teams finished with identical 8-1 conference records, with matching 10-1 records overall. Both teams will learn their NCAA postseason fate tomorrow afternoon.
In order to clinch, both teams won on the last weekend of the regular season. CSU-Pueblo hosted New Mexico Highlands University, prevailing 44-21, while Colorado Mines entertained Adams State University in a 49-28 Oredigger victory. After each game, the co-champs were recognized in brief post-game ceremonies at their respective sites of Pueblo, Colorado, and Golden, Colorado.
The NCAA Division II Football Championship field will be announced tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. (MST). The online stream of the selection show is available at this link.
The RMAC Football All-Conference selections are scheduled to be announced this week.
