Mines to Battle in NCAA Playoffs Saturday

GOLDEN, Colo. – The No. 17 Colorado School of Mines football team will take part in its first NCAA Division II Playoff game since the 2010 season on Saturday when the squad welcomes No. 9 Ohio Dominican to the North Area Athletic Complex in Arvada at noon. 

MINES STUDENTS:
All Colorado School of Mines students that attend Saturday's game will have their admission paid for by the Mines Department of Student Life. A valid BlasterCard must be provided for cost-free admission to the game. 

GAME 1,000:
Saturday's contest will be the 1,000th all-time game in the 124-plus year history of the Mines football program.

SERIES NOTES: 
* Saturday's matchup will be the first meeting between the two schools. 

LAST WEEK
The Orediggers claimed a 49-34 victory over Adams State in cold, snowy conditions on Saturday to claim a share of the 2014 RMAC Championship (RECAP). The Panthers defeated Tiffin by a score of 41-9 to claim the GLIAC South Division Title. (RECAP).
