2014-15 RMAC Radio Show Week 16 Now Available

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- The "RMAC Radio Show"   week number 16 is now available. 

Each week guests include coaches, administrators and student-athletes from various RMAC schools and sports. 

Our guest in the first segment is RMAC Football Defensive Player of the Year Darius Allen of CSU-Pueblo. Allen was also named winner of the Gene Upshaw Award as the top lineman in NCAA Division II for the second time earlier this week. The ThunderWolves plays for the NCAA Division II football championship this Saturday at Sporting Park in Kansas City against Minnesota State University, Mankato at 2 p.m. MST. The game will be carried live on ESPN2.

In the second segment we talk with UCCS men's basketball coach Jeff Culver. The #4-ranked Mountain Lions defeated #7-ranked MSU Denver 69-66 on Friday, December 12. This was the first win by UCCS over Metro Stat in program history. This week the Mountain Lions travel to New Mexico Highlands on Friday and Western New Mexico on Saturday.

RMAC Associate Commissioner Eric Danner is in his twelfth year as host of the show. He also serves as executive producer for the "RMAC Radio Show" which is recorded in the conference office in Colorado Springs.

This episode has a total running time of 26 minutes. A new show is available each Thursday through March 26, 2015. There will not be new episodes on December 24 and 31.


The RMAC Radio Show airs in several markets around the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on KSPK in Walsenburg/Trinidad/Alamosa, KSCQ in Silver City, NM and KPKE in Gunnison/Crested Butte. 104.7 KING-FM in Sterling airs the show Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. KMET radio in Denver has the show on Monday's and Wednesday's at 5:30 p.m.
