Colorado Mines makes their way into the USTFCCCA Top 25 accompanying three other RMAC schools

NEW ORLEANS – For the first time this season, Colorado Mines breaks through the Top 25 U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Coaches’ Poll.
The Orediggers garnered 59 points and the No. 18 spot. They competed at the Chili Pepper Festival and Rocky Mountain Shootout finishing fourth overall at both meets.
Adams State and Western State hold steady from last week’s ranking as No. 2 and No. 6.
UCCS falls to No.22 despite having a successful second-place finish at the Roadrunners Invitational.
Eight RMAC schools occupy the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II South Central Regional Cross Country Top 10 rankings. Adams State and Western state remain No. 1 and No. 2 for the fifth consecutive week.
Colorado Mines moves from No. 5 to No. 3 and CSU-Pueblo takes the fifth rank. UCCS drops to No. 6 with Colorado Mesa and Chadron State to follow. Fort Lewis enters into the rankings for the first time this season to take the final spot in the polls.
Four teams from the South Central Region receive automatic qualification to the NCAA Regionals.
