COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – Anna Gregg of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) headlines an impressive 144 honorees for the 2018 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) All-Academic team after being named Academic Player of the Year.
The 144 honorees are the most by any sport in any year since the RMAC began tracking the numbers in 2001-02.
Gregg, along with the other First Team All-Academic members, were voted on by the conference’s sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters.
Gregg a Sacramento, Calif. native, boasts a 3.991 GPA in the Health Science field. The midfield/forward has helped the nationally ranked UCCS women’s program to a 11-2-1 (9-1-0 RMAC) record so far this season. She has scored a team high nine goals to go along with two assists in 14 games played. She currently ranks third in goals and fourth in points in the RMAC.
