2019 #RMACwsoc Tournament Bracket Set
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.— The 2019 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Women’s Soccer Tournament bracket is set as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) went undefeated in the regular season to earn the No. 1 overall seed.
The women’s soccer tournament consists of the top eight teams in the conference. The quarterfinals will begin Friday, Nov. 8 followed by the semifinals on Sunday Nov. 10. The Championship game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 16 with the highest remaining seed hosting.
UCCS, the current No. 1 team in the country finished the regular season undefeated with a 17-0 record to secure the RMAC Regular Season Championship Title. The Mountain Lions will host the No. 8 seed CSU-Pueblo.
Colorado School of Mines, last year’s RMAC regular season champion and tournament champion earned the No. 2 seed after dropping only one conference match (to UCCS) and compiling a 11-1-1 RMAC record. The Orediggers are currently ranked No. 16 in the nation are set to host the No. 7 seed Fort Lewis.
The No. 3 seed in the tournament will be the Dixie State Trailblazers. Dixie State finished the regular season with a conference record of 8-2-3 and will matchup against the No. 6 seed MSU Denver.
Rounding out the tournament bracket will be the clash of No. 4 seed Griffins from Westminster and No. 5 seeded Regis Rangers.
