MSU Denver's Jonalyn Wittwer Headlines the 2018-19 #RMACwbb All-Academic Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – Jonalyn Wittwer of MSU Denver joins over 90 honorees for the 2018-19 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) All-Academic Women’s Basketball team after being named the Academic Player of the Year.
Ninety-four honorees this year marks the most All-Academic student-athletes for RMAC women’s basketball in a single year (72, 2015-16). Black Hills State led all teams with 12 honorees.
Wittwer, along with the other First Team All-Academic members, were voted on by the conference’s sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters.
The senior from Fall Creek, Wisconsin carries a 3.95 GPA majoring in Biology. She led the Roadrunner has started all 21 games. She averages 9.8 points per game and has been named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week once this season. Throughout her time at MSU Denver, Wittwer has been named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for six semesters and the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll twice.
