Bracket set for 2019 #RMACten Tournament

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2019 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Women’s Tennis Tournament bracket is set with Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSUD) Roadrunners earning the No. 1 seed. The two-day tournament will take place at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction. Colo. on April 26-27.
 
The Roadrunners went 3-0 in conference play to secure the regular-season title for the second consecutive year. MSU Denver defeated Colorado Mesa (7-0), Dixie State (4-3), and CSU-Pueblo (7-0) in the regular-season to earn the No. 1 seed. Last year, the Roadrunners earned their second-straight tournament title and will be looking to defend their title on Friday.
 
Earning the second seed is Dixie State with a 2-1 RMAC record. The Trailblazers will compete in their first RMAC Tennis Tournament after joining the RMAC this season.
 
Colorado Mesa and CSU-Pueblo round out the tournament bracket as the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds in the tournament. The Mavericks finished the regular season 1-2 in the RMAC, while the Pack finished with a 0-3 RMAC record.
 
SEMIFINAL MATCHUPS – Friday, April 26
SG 1 - No. 1-seeded MSU Denver v. No. 4-seeded CSU-Pueblo – 9:30 a.m.
SG 2 - No. 2-seeded Dixie State v. No. 3-seeded Colorado Mesa – 1 p.m.
 
CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – Saturday, April 27
Winner of Semifinal Match 1 v. Winner of Semifinal Match 2 – 10:30 a.m.
