COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – Colorado Mesa and Nebraska Kearney women’s programs competed last weekend in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) swimming and diving action.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
  • Colorado Mesa vs Northern Colorado
  • Colorado Mesa combined for five event wins and 19 total top-three finishes but dropped a 145-117 NCAA inter-divisional dual to Division I University of Northern Colorado.
  • College of Idaho Virtual swim meet:
  • University of Nebraska-Kearney hosted Midland University at Kearney High Saturday morning; across the country numerous NAIA members also competed and sent in their times to create the virtual meet. The Aqualopers finished in fourth place.
RMAC SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
  • Katerina Matoskova of Colorado Mesa has been named this week’s RMAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week. Matoskova won the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 1:57.02 which currently ranks her ninth in Division II. She also finished second in the 200-yard Back and 200-yard Medley. Her time of 2:05.89 in the 200-yard Back ranks her fifth in Division II and ninth in Maverick history.   
NOTEWORTHY PERFORMANCES
  • In her first meet of the year, Cassidy Wright of Oklahoma Baptist qualified for the NCAA Championships with a 1-meter dive score of 267.60 which was over 12 points more then what she needed.
