CSU Pueblo's Scoggins and Sommer named 2020-21 #RMACtf Indoor Summit Award Winners
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has named CSU Pueblo’s Patrick Scoggins and Emma Sommer as the 2020-21 RMAC Track and Field Summit Award Winners.
The award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average (GPA), participating at the final sties for each of the RMAC Championships.
Scoggins, the Rangely, Colorado native is a junior who is getting his bachelors in EXHP (General) where he holds a perfect 4.0 GPA. He is set to compete in the open mile and the mile leg of the DMR for the ThunderWolves.
Sommer is majoring in Political Science with a perfect 4.0 GPA. The junior from Cologne, Germany will participate in the triple jump at the Championships for CSU Pueblo.
All GPA’s are based on a straight grading scale to ensure consistency among institutions. Any tie is broken by the number of credits taken.
Scoggins and Sommer will be recognized at the 2021 RMAC Track and Field Championships in Spearfish, South Dakota. For more information on the championship,
