Tristan Semelsberger Headlines D2CCA South Central All-Region Men’s Soccer Rosters
2022 D2CCA South Central All-Region Announcement
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2022 Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA) announced the 2022 Men’s Soccer South Central All-Region teams and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) nabbed 13 spots among the first and second teams. Tristan Semelsberger highlights the 2022 roster as the South Central Player of the Year.
Semelsberger was named South Central Player of the Year after leading Colorado School of Mines to its sixth consecutive regular-season title. The Mines midfielder registered 14 goals with two assists for an impressive 30 points in the 2022 campaign.
The RMAC’s 13 selections on the regional roster make up half of the spots, as the other 13 spots were awarded to Lone Star Conference programs. The RMAC earns seven first-team spots and six positions on the second-team roster.
University of Colorado Colorado Springs leads the way among RMAC institutions with four selections, including Kolby Raineri, Declan Domyan, Marvin Putu and Matteo Moreno Madrid. Colorado School of Mines collects three first-team selections, headlined by Semelberger, Michael Sprauer and Lucas King, while Colorado State University Pueblo also collects three all-region spots in Gabriel Campora, Shjon Andrews and Lamar Bynum.
Daisuke Takanaka earns a second-team honor for Colorado Mesa, while Rayhan Carlson-Du Toit represents Regis on the all-region first team. Westminster’s Luke Merrill rounds out the RMAC selections with a second-team position.
