Reisman, Harpman Earn RMAC Softball Weekly Awards
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs’ Peyton Reisman and Regis’ Kylie Harpman are the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, the league announced Tuesday.
Reisman earns Player of the Week for the first time this season after boosting the Mountain Lions (23-21, 21-15 RMAC) to a four-game sweep at home over New Mexico Highlands last weekend. After closing the series going 6-for-11 from the plate, the redshirt junior cemented a .545 batting average. She drove in four RBI and stamped three extra-base hits, including home runs in games two and three of the series. Reisman reached base eight times for a .615 on-base percentage.
The Mountain Lions are back in action on the road this weekend for their regular-season finale against Colorado State University Pueblo. Friday’s doubleheader against the ThunderWolves is slated to begin at noon (MT), at Rawlings Softball Complex in Pueblo, Colo.
Harpman claims Pitcher of the Week honors for the fourth time this season following a pair of complete-game victories in the Rangers’ (31-20, 25-11 RMAC) series win at home over MSU Denver last weekend. She now stands 18-7 in the circle for Regis this year after dealing 20 strikeouts over 14 innings of work against the Roadrunners. Her efforts against MSU Denver were consistent as the righty fanned 10 batters in each contest to leave her foes batting a combined .167 in her two appearances.
Regis closes out its regular-season slate with a road series at Fort Lewis this weekend. The Rangers and Skyhawks will square off with a doubleheader beginning Friday, April 29, at noon on Aspen Field in Durango, Colo.

With two hit-by-pitches also to her credit, she reached base in eight of her 13 plate appearances for a .615 on-base percentage.
