COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its 2022 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Major Awards and All-Conference rosters Tuesday. Colorado Mesa's Sierra Arceneaux was named the Women's Track Athlete of the Year, while University of Colorado Colorado Springs' Hannah Meek and Western Colorado's Eireann Donohoe were named the RMAC Women's Field Athlete of the Year and Freshman of the Year, respectively. UCCS head coach Ross Fellows is the RMAC Women's Coach of the Year.

Arceneaux claims the league's Track Athlete of the Year award after securing conference titles in the 100-meter and 200m dash events, for which she was named an all-conference first team honoree. She secured a personal-best time in the 100m event at the RMAC Championships, crossing the finish line with an altitude-converted time of 11.48, which ranks eighth nationally. Arceneaux also stands 11th in the nation in the 200m dash following her 23.72 finish at the APU Last Chance Meet (May 13). She has qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in three events, including the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relays races.

Meek captures Women's Field Athlete of the Year after qualifying for the NCAA National Championships in the long jump and triple jump events. She has competed in seven meets throughout the 2022 outdoor season and earned first-place finishes in six of her nine performances in the horizontal jumps. Meek currently stands tied for No. 2 in the nation in the long jump, following her 6.58m (21'7.25") leap at the RMAC Outdoor Championships. The redshirt senior will be making her fourth appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the Mountain Lions.

Donohoe is the RMAC Women's Freshman of the Year after earning an all-conference second team nod in the triple jump event, which came on a leap of 11.88m (38'11.75"). She also competed in the high jump and long jump events for the Mountaineers at the conference meet, in addition to the 100m hurdles. Most recently, she qualified for a spot in the triple jump at the NCAA DII Championships with a 12.44m (40'9.75") mark, which she set at the Maverick Top Gun Last Chance Meet (May 8).

UCCS head coach Ross Fellows was named the RMAC Women's Coach of the Year after leading the Mountain Lions to their second consecutive outdoor conference championship. Ahead of the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Fellows' team ranks No. 17 in the nation. Ten of his women's student-athletes have qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, with five of those contenders set to compete in multiple events

RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Major Awards are voted on by the league's head coaches. Coaches are not permitted to vote for themselves or their student-athletes. The league's all-conference teams are determined based on finishes at the RMAC Outdoor Championships. The top-three finishers in each individual race are named first-team selections, while the fourth, fifth and sixth-place finishers are tabbed second-team honorees. For relay events, the first-place team is named to the first team and the second-place team is named to the second team.
