2021-22 RMAC Women’s Golf All-Academic Release

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Christian’s Faith Kilgore is the 2022 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Academic Golfer of the Year, the league announced Tuesday alongside its All-Academic First Team. The RMAC All-Academic team is nominated and voted on by the league’s sports information directors.

Kilgore earns the league’s academic award after a stellar senior season in which she holds a 3.75 grade-point average as a psychology major. She also earned top honors on the links and pushed the Cougars to a team championship with an individual title at the 2022 RMAC Women’s Golf Championship in April. Kilgore currently ranks seventh in the nation among NCAA Division II golfers and will make an appearance at the 2022 NCAA DII regional tournament.

Among the five-woman All-Academic First Team roster, there are three RMAC institutions represented. Colorado Christian and University of Colorado Colorado Springs lead the way with two selections apiece. Kilgore and Emily Donaldson represent the Cougars, while Julia Baroth and Emily Shimkus claim first-team honors for the Mountain Lions. Colorado Mesa’s Elly Walters rounds out the first team and holds the lone 4.0 GPA.
