COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines’ Tristan Semelsberger and Lucas King join University of Colorado Colorado Springs’ Declan Domyan as the week five Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Semelsberger collects his first RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season after boosting the Orediggers (5-3-2, 2-0 RMAC) to a pair of victories last weekend. The senior then came up clutch against Fort Lewis on Sunday scoring the game-winning goal at the 79th minute mark and added an assist in the 3-1 win.
King claims his first RMAC Defensive Player of the Week distinction of the season after leading the Orediggers’ defense while allowing one goal and nine shots all weekend. King recorded his first goal of the season and added an assist in Mines’ dominant win over Adams State on Friday. He also dealt the assist that leveled the game at 1-1 in Sunday’s showdown with Fort Lewis, giving the Orediggers life in their eventual win.
