Breanne Fuller and Kamryn Scully Named RMAC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Black Hills State’s Breanne Fuller and South Dakota Mines’ Kamryn Scully are the week three Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, the league announced Tuesday.
Fuller dominated in both the 60-meter and 200m races last weekend at the Myrle Hanson Open in Spearfish, S.D. After earning first place in the 60m event with a time of 7.69 before another first place finish in the 200m event with a time of 25.92. With those finishes, the senior earned provisional times in each of her two events.
Fuller and the Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 20, at the David Little Alumni Mile in Spearfish, S.D.
Scully claimed an NCAA DII provisional mark with her first-place finish in the pole vault, where she cleared the bar with a mark of 3.25m (10-7.95 ft) at the Myrle Hanson Open last weekend. The senior was the only competitor to clear the bar on her first try at the winning height.
The Hardrockers will also be back in action this weekend at the David Little Alumni Mile.
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week: Breanne Fuller, Black Hills State – Sr. – Billings, Mont.
Fuller claims the Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor after clocking a time of 7.74 seconds in the women’s 60m dash and a time of 25.92 in the 200m last weekend at the Myrle Hanson Open. Fuller set a personal best early in the meet with a time of 7.69 in the preliminary round before posting her finals time of 7.74.

Women’s Field Athlete of the Week: Kamryn Scully, South Dakota Mines – Sr. – Deer Lodge, Mont.
Scully earns the league’s latest weekly indoor field honor after claiming first place in the pole vault with a 3.25m mark. She bested the second-place competitor by clearing the bar in her first and only attempt at the winning height. In addition to her strong performance in the pole vault, the Deer Lodge, Mont., native also played a role in the Hardrockers’ 4x400 relay team, which also placed first with a time of 4:34.66.
