COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – South Dakota Mines’ Ben Noland, Colorado State University Pueblo’s Daniel Bone, III and Colorado School of Mines’ Blake Doud are the Week Eight Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Offensive Player of the Week: Ben Noland | South Dakota Mines | Jr. | WR | Jefferson, Ga.
Noland was an x-factor in the Hardrockers’ (4-4, 3-3 RMAC) 48-10 win over Fort Lewis on Saturday. He did damage as a receiver much like he’s consistently done all season for South Dakota Mines, catching nine passes for 193 yards and a trio of touchdowns. Additionally, he returned a punt for 59 yards before being ruled out of bounds at the two-yard line, setting up a quick score for the Hardrockers’ offensive unit to start the second quarter. The junior also connected with fellow wide receiver Mason Galbreath on a 44-yard pass in the second quarter, which also led to a touchdown later in the drive for South Dakota Mines.

Honorable Mention: TJ Chukwurah, Black Hills State; Marvin Jones, Colorado Mesa; John Matocha, Colorado School of Mines; Chance Fuller, CSU Pueblo; Drew Nash, Western Colorado.

Defensive Player of the Week: Daniel Bone, III | CSU Pueblo | R-Jr. | DB | Colorado Springs, Colo.
Bone had a career day in the Pack’s (5-3, 4-2 RMAC) 28-3 road win over Chadron State on Saturday, recording a career-high 16 tackles, nine assisted and seven solo. He also split a tackle-for-loss and added in an interception against the Eagles. He was a key figure on the ThunderWolves’ defense that held the Eagles out of the endzone throughout the contest while allowing just 101 rushing yards and 219 yards in the air.

Honorable Mention: Cooper Brown, Black Hills State; Joey Geil, Chadron State; Levi Krebs, Colorado Mesa; Jaden Williams, Colorado School of Mines; Jacob Schwab, South Dakota Mines; Kendall Lightfoot, Western Colorado.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Blake Doud | Colorado School of Mines | R-So. | P | Parker, Colo.
Doud helped Colorado School of Mines (8-0, 6-0 RMAC) win the battle of field position over the weekend in a 42-17 road win over Black Hills State with four kicks. The redshirt sophomore accounted for punts of 60 yards, 54 yards, 33 yards and 52 yards with only one returnable, which ended up being recovered by the Orediggers to set up the team’s second touchdown of the contest. Doud claimed one of the RMAC’s top punting averages over the weekend with an impressive 49.8 yards-per-punt mark.

Honorable Mention: Derek Webster, Black Hills State; Wilson Yee, Chadron State, Noah Greer, Colorado Mesa; Sullivan Moon, CSU Pueblo; Ben Noland, South Dakota Mines; Deyvon Butler, Western Colorado.
