COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo’s (8-3, 7-2 RMAC) Chance Fuller, Cory McLellan and Moosah Alsaffar are the Week 11 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Offensive Player of the Week: Chance Fuller | CSU Pueblo | Gr. | QB | Arlington, Texas
Fuller capped off his collegiate career on Saturday against Black Hills State by completing 88 percent of his passes for 284 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Pack to a 42-37 victory over the Yellow Jackets. The ThunderWolves finished the 2023 slate with seven consecutive victories, paced by Fuller’s record-breaking year. The graduate student’s four touchdown passes last weekend pushed his season total to 34, setting the Pack’s single-season program, which was previously set at 33 by Chris Bonner in the 2013 season. His 33-yard strike in the fourth quarter placed the Pack ahead for good with 3:31 remaining in regulation. Fuller finishes as one of four active Division II quarterbacks to pass for at least 10,000 career yards, gain 10,000 yards or more of total offense and throw for 100 career touchdowns.

Honorable Mention: Tanner Clarkson, Black Hills State; Gavin Herberg, Colorado Mesa; John Matocha, Colorado School of Mines; Shawntay Mills Jr., New Mexico Highlands; Ben Noland, South Dakota Mines; Deyvon Butler, Western Colorado.

Defensive Player of the Week: Cory McLellan | CSU Pueblo | Sr. | DB | Monument, Colo.
In the final game of his collegiate career, McLellan made a huge impact in the Pack's 42-37 win over Black Hills State. The senior recorded 11 tackles, including four solo stops, had one tackle-for-loss and picked off his team-high fourth interception. McLellan also picked off a two-point conversion attempt by the Yellow Jackets after they scored to pull the game within five points. His interception pushed his career total to 10, which is tied for seventh among the CSU Pueblo program. The 11 total tackles notched McLellan’s third double-digit performance of 2023, helping him finish with 69 total tackles on the year, two pass breakups and four interceptions.

Honorable Mention: Ryder Blair, Black Hills State; Liban Shongolo, Colorado Mesa; James Hess, Colorado School of Mines; Devin Coney, New Mexico Highlands; Hunter Newsom, South Dakota Mines; Wyatt Buhr, Western Colorado.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Moosah Alsaffar | CSU Pueblo | R-Fr. | PR/KR | Aurora, Colo.
Alsaffar made two huge special teams plays on Saturday against the Yellow Jackets. His first big play came on punt coverage as he collected a muffed punt at the Black Hills State 20-yard line early in the second half. Alsaffar’s awareness led the Pack to a touchdown-scoring drive to give them a lead in the third quarter. Later in the quarter, he returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score regaining the ThunderWolves’ lead in a previously tied ballgame. Alsaffar’s return was the third 100-yard kickoff return touchdown in school history, and the first since 1983.

Honorable Mention: Coleman Chapman, Black Hills State; Wilson Yee, Chadron State; Henry Katleman, Colorado Mesa; Will McDaniel, New Mexico Highlands; Adam Tasei, Western Colorado.
