Alisha Little, Victoria Perez Crowned RMAC Women’s Basketball Players of the Week
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo’s Alisha Little and Colorado Christian’s Victoria Perez are the Week Six Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Offensive Player of the Week: Alisha Little | CSU Pueblo | R-Jr. | F | Aurora, Colo.
In the Pack’s lone outing last week, Little was the catalyst during CSU Pueblo’s dominant 79-57 win AT HOME over South Dakota Mines. The redshirt junior made her presence felt on both ends of the court but charged the ThunderWolves’ offense with a career-high 30 points on 71 percent shooting (12-for-17) from the field and a 6-for-9 outing from the charity stripe. In addition to her prolific scoring effort, the Aurora, Colo., native also pulled down 18 rebounds, 10 from the offensive glass, for her eighth double-double of the season. She has registered double-scoring figures in 11 of her 12 appearances and also has double-digit rebounding efforts in eight contests. On the year, she ranks first among NCAA Division II for double-doubles and averages 18.1 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game.

Defensive Player of the Week: Victoria Perez | Colorado Christian | So. | G | El Paso, Texas
Perez had a stellar outing for the Cougars last week and guided her squad to a pair of crucial RMAC wins over Chadron State and UCCS. In Tuesday’s road game against the Eagles, the sophomore posted an impressive nine steals, eight points, eight assists and four rebounds to help the Cougars capture a 70-46 win. She then followed up with nine points, five assists and three more steals in CCU’s 83-75 win over University of Colorado Colorado Springs on Saturday. Perez tied a bow on her week with 13 points, three rebounds and one steal in Sunday’s setback against Regis, but closed the three-game stretch with a combined 13 steals.
