COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Mesa’s Sauvelyne Randel, Fort Lewis’ Amber Otts and University of Colorado Colorado Springs’ Isabella Whitmore were named the Week Three Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Offensive Player of the Week: Sauvelyne Randel, Colorado Mesa – R-Jr. – F – Port-au-Prince, Haiti
Randel scored three goals, including two game-winners, as Colorado Mesa defeated a pair of regional foes, Angelo State and West Texas A&M over the weekend. She scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Angelo State and added the game-winning goal in the 71st minute for a 2-1 victory over West Texas A&M. Randel managed five shots in each of her two appearances, all of which landed on target. She now leads the RMAC with six goals on the year, two more than the next closest player.

Defensive Player of the Week: Amber Otts, Fort Lewis – Fr. – D – Albuquerque, N.M.
Otts has burst onto the scene for the Skyhawks in her freshman campaign, playing the full 90 minutes in all six matches to begin the year. Her defensive prowess over the weekend led the team to a pair of shutout wins over regional opponents, West Texas A&M and Angelo State. In the 2-0 win over West Texas A&M, Otts picked up her first career assist with a beautifully placed long pass that dismantled the Buffs’ defense. She is part of the Fort Lewis backline that holds opponents to .50 goals per game this season, the second-best mark in the RMAC, and only three shots on goal per game. Otts’ efforts helped the Skyhawks remain unbeaten on the year with a 4-0-2 overall record heading into conference play, marking the team's best start since 2013.

Letting in just one goal in each appearance, Whitmore helped the Mountain Lions to a 1-0-1 outing with their win coming against the previously No. 9 Point Loma Nazarene on Thursday.
