COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Week 6 RMAC Volleyball Players of the Week on Monday. Colorado Mesa swept the conference’s latest awards, with Sierra Hunt, Allison Waller, and Sabrina VanDeList taking home the Offensive, Defensive, and Setter of the Week awards, respectively.
 
Offensive Player of the Week: Sierra Hunt, Colorado Mesa (R-Jr., OH, Aurora, Colorado)
Hunt put on an offensive showcase as the Mavericks took down Colorado State University Pueblo and Adams State over the weekend. Against CSU Pueblo, the redshirt junior recorded a career-high 24 kills on 42 attempts, posting 4.80 kills per set and .500 hitting. During Saturday’s four-set win over Adams State, Hunt racked up 20 more kills, averaging 5.00 kills per set. On the weekend, she totaled an RMAC-leading 44 kills (4.89 per set) with ten digs and five blocks. Hunt currently ranks third in the RMAC with 213 kills (3.74 per set).

Defensive Player of the Week: Allison Waller, Colorado Mesa (Jr., L, Loveland, Colorado)
Waller led all RMAC players last week with 45 digs in CMU’s victories over the ThunderWolves and Grizzlies. In Friday’s contest, Waller led all players with a season-high 26 digs, averaging 5.20 digs per set. She maintained her dominance Saturday, again leading all players with 19 digs (4.75 per set) as the Mavs triumphed over Adams State. For the weekend, the Loveland, Colorado native averaged 5.00 digs per set and nine assists.

Setter of the Week: Sabrina VanDeList, Colorado Mesa (R-Sr., S, Severance, Colorado)
VanDeList registered her most productive weekend of the 2024 season, as she tallied 112 assists (12.44 per set) and 29 digs (3.22 per set). On Friday against CSU Pueblo, VanDeList recorded season-highs for assists (60) and digs (16) while leading the Mavericks to an impressive .325 team attack percentage. She followed that up with 52 assists, 13 digs, and five kills, as the Mavs beat the Grizzlies in four sets. On the season, VanDeList leads the RMAC with 700 assists (12.28 per set).
