Pinkerton Named RMAC Men’s Wrestler of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Chadron State’s Cody Pinkerton is the Week 2 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Wrestler of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.
 
Men’s Wrestler of the Week: Cody Pinkerton, Chadron State (Jr., 285, Douglas, Wyoming)
Pinkerton dominated the mat en route to the heavyweight title at the Dakota Wesleyan University Open. On his run to gold, the junior defeated South Dakota State’s Regan Bollweg by fall in 2:59 in the first round. He won his second match by a 16-1 technical fall over Ridgewater College’s Tucker Hugg before beating North State’s Ayden Viox by a 9-3 decision. Pinkerton ended the day by defeating Iowa Western’s Orion Parker by fall in 2:10.
