COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo’s Henry Sturn is the RMAC Men’s Wrestler of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. The sophomore earns the conference’s latest weekly award of the 2024-25 season following a fourth-place finish at the Bob Smith Open.
Men’s Wrestler of the Week: Henry Sturn, CSU Pueblo (So., 285, Rancho Santa Margarita, California)
Sturn had a strong day, posting five wins and a fourth-place finish in the 285-pound weight class at the Bob Smith Open hosted by Fort Hays State. Two of Sturn’s four wins came against Division I opponents, with a 7-1 decision victory over Oklahoma’s Jacob Henry and an 8-6 decision victory over Oklahoma State’s Hayden Simpson. The sophomore also secured wins against Griffin LaRue of Otero College, Brayden Seago of Ouachita Baptist, and James Bankston of Pratt Community College.
