COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Texas Permian Basin sophomore Colin Doyle posted a pair of individual victories last weekend to claim the sixth edition of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s Swimmer of the Week award on Wednesday.
The next RMAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Weekly Award will be announced on Jan. 15.
Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Colin Doyle, Texas Permian Basin (Sophomore, San Antonio, Texas)
Doyle claimed individual wins in the 50-yard freestyle and 200-yard individual medley in the Falcons’ double-dual victories against Austin College and McMurry University. He posted a time of 21.72 in the 50-yard freestyle and finished the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:00.30. Doyle pushed the UTPB 200-medley relay team to a victory and added a third-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.20).
