Western Colorado’s Dean Noble Named RMAC Men’s Wrestler of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Colorado’s Dean Noble is the RMAC Men’s Wrestler of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. The 149-pound wrestler earns the conference’s latest weekly award following a second-place finish at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana.
 
Men’s Wrestler of the Week: Dean Noble, Western Colorado (5-Yr., 149, Wellington, Colorado)
Noble roared through his matchups at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana. The No. 5 ranked wrestler at 149 pounds started the classic with a third-period 22-4 tech fall at the 6:04 mark. He pounced on his next opponent, pinning him in the first period at 1:46. In the quarterfinal match, the Wellington, Colorado native faced off against Northern State’s Wyatt Turnquist, pinning him to advance in the bracket. He then reached the finals, where he fell to fourth-ranked Jalen Spuhler of Wisconsin-Parkside 4-1.
