Alisha Little and Olivia Reed Capture RMAC Women’s Basketball Players of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo’s (12-10, 7-7 RMAC) Alisha Little and Colorado Mesa’s (17-4, 11-3) Olivia Reed are the Week 11 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
 
Offensive Player of the Week: Alisha Little | CSU Pueblo | R-Jr. | F | Aurora, Colo.
Little continued to dominate both ends of the floor in the Pack's 83-70 win over Regis on Friday. The redshirt junior notched a career-high 35 points and 15 rebounds to record her 15th double-double of the season. Little added two blocks, one assist and one steal to her career day at home against the Rangers. The double-double helped her remain tied for the Division II lead and her 35 points pushed her scoring average to 20.0 points per game. She currently leads the league in that category and is averaging the second-best rebounds per game in the RMAC (11.2).

Defensive Player of the Week: Olivia Reed | Colorado Mesa | So. | F | Windsor, Colo.
Reed owned the glass to help the Mavericks win their fifth game in a row, tallying 35 rebounds in a pair of midweek games. In Colorado Mesa’s double-overtime road win against upset-minded Western Colorado, the sophomore had a career-high 24 rebounds, including 11 defensive boards. Reed’s 24 boards are the most by a Maverick in 25 years, and just three rebounds off the single-game record. She added 11 more rebounds, five defensive, on Friday night in CMU’s 81-38 victory over Westminster. Reed tallied five total swats over two games, improving to third-best in the RMAC with 1.3 blocks per game.
