COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The bracket is final and the opening round is prepared for action at the 2024 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament. Quarterfinals will be played on Tuesday, March 3, at the institutional sites of each of the tournament’s top-four seeds. Following Tuesday’s opening-round games, the semifinal and championship contests will then be hosted at the institutional site of the highest remaining seed still in contention for the tournament crown. After finishing the regular season with a 21-1 record in RMAC play, Colorado Mesa enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed.
While the Mavericks secured the tournament’s top seed, Fort Lewis finished its RMAC slate with a 20-2 record, earning the No. 2 seed. Colorado School of Mines enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed, while Black Hills State rounds out the top four spots. Metropolitan State University Denver will be the No. 5 seed, followed by No. 6 Regis, No. 7 Colorado State University Pueblo and No. 8 Chadron State.
Once again, with quarterfinal action slated for Tuesday, March 5, the tournament’s top four seeds will host the first four matchups. Colorado Mesa will host Chadron State, beginning at 7:30 p.m. MT, inside Brownson Arena in Grand Junction, Colo. No. 2 Fort Lewis will host CSU Pueblo at 6 p.m., inside Whalen Gymnasium in Durango, Colo. Regis will visit Colorado School of Mines beginning at 7 p.m. inside Lockridge Arena in Golden, Colo. MSU Denver will head to Spearfish, S.D., to take on Black Hills State at 7 p.m., inside the Donald E. Young Center.
Each of the seven games in the 2024 RMAC Men’s Basketball Tournament will be broadcast live on the
RMAC Network. Fans will be able to purchase access to each of the tournament’s seven contests for the price of $9.95 per day pass.
