COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Regis’ (27-18-1, 18-10 RMAC) Maxim Fullerton and New Mexico Highlands’ (8-38, 4-24 RMAC) Jadrian Martinez are the Week 13 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, the league announced Tuesday.
 
Player of the Week: Maxim Fullerton | Regis | Jr. | OF | Steamboat Springs, Colo.
Fullerton asserted himself this weekend against Colorado Christian, both with the bat and reaching base. The junior went 12-for-15 at the dish but also forced two walks and was hit by a pitch three times. Fullerton had consecutive 4-for-4 performances in games two and three, slugging five extra base hits in the two contests. In the Rangers’ series victory, the Steamboat Springs, Colo., native notched 11 RBIs, scored 10 runs and recorded three doubles. Fullerton ranks seventh in the RMAC with his 16 doubles and eighth in RBIs with 52.

Pitcher of the Week: Jadrian Martinez | New Mexico Highlands | Sr. | LHP | Socorro, N.M.
Martinez held the hot-hitting Mavericks at bay, allowing a single run in his complete game gem. The lefty delivered seven dominant innings, scattering four hits over his outing. Martinez outdueled CMU’s Cole Seward, who also went the distance in the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader. The southpaw left the bases loaded in the sixth inning to thwart the Mavs’ best threat of the game. He earned his third win of the season, adding three strikeouts and holding the league leaders to just a .174 batting average.
