CSU Pueblo’s Kylie Severin Named RMAC Women’s Golf Academic Player of the Year
2023-24 RMAC Women’s Golf All-Academic Release
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo’s Kylie Severin is the 2023-24 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Academic Player of the Year, the league announced Thursday. Severin leads the list of eight honorees recognized among the RMAC All-Academic First Team, which comprises student-athletes from five league institutions. The senior holds a 3.64 grade-point average as a psychology major. The RMAC Women’s Golf All-Academic First Team is nominated and voted on by the league’s 11 sports information directors. Sports information directors are not permitted to vote for their student-athletes.
Severin closed out an incredible four-year career for the ThunderWolves in which she routinely ranked among the nation’s best competitors. The Aurora, Colo., native concluded her senior campaign ranked 34th in the nation after tying for 12th place at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championship, leading the Pack to a sixth-place finish at the event. She captured a third-place finish at the RMAC Women’s Golf Championship after shooting two of her three rounds under par. Further, she was named the RMAC Women’s Golfer of the Year and a member of the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Division II West All-Region team.
Chadron State, CSU Pueblo and Metropolitan State University of Denver lead the way among the RMAC All-Academic First Team with two honorees each. Colorado Mesa and Regis rounded out the roster with one selection apiece.
Among the eight first-team honorees, an incredible four student-athletes hold a flawless 4.0 GPA, including Brooke Kramer, Kinsey Smith, Cassidy Phelan, Freya Constable.
