2024 RMAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Release
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs’ Audrey Bloomquist is the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Academic Athlete of the Year, the league announced Thursday. Announced alongside Bloomquist’s latest honor were the 2024 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic rosters. The All-Academic rosters are voted on by the league’s 14 sports information directors.

Bloomquist claims the 2024 RMAC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Academic Athlete of the Year award with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average in communication. Bloomquist had another dominant year in the RMAC for the Mountain Lions, as the redshirt senior owns the best triple jump performance in the conference this season with a mark of 12.61 meters. She also holds a top-five league performance in the long jump, recording a leap of 5.88m. Bloomquist’s season reached its pinnacle at the 2024 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, where she took home a first-place finish in the long jump and triple jump, and a pair of silver medals in the 100m dash and 4x100 relay. Her performance at the RMAC championships earned her the title of the Dr. Randy Rhine Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Co-Performer of the Meet.

Seven RMAC institutions are represented on the 2024 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic rosters, with UCCS leading the way, with four student-athletes claiming first-team all-academic honors.
