COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After a storied career with the Regis University Women’s Basketball program, Diana Lopez adds to her long list of accolades as an inductee into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Hall of Fame. Lopez joins the RMAC Hall of Fame as a member of the 2024 class after a highly successful career representing the Rangers.  
 
Lopez joins the list of names on the latest RMAC Hall of Fame class after four incredible years for the Regis women’s basketball program, in which she was named a three-time RMAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year. Additionally, she was also named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Year during the 2004-05 season. Following her list of accolades as a RMAC women’s basketball student-athlete, she was then named the most valuable player on the RMAC Women’s Basketball All-Century Team in 2009.
 
Throughout her career in the RMAC, Lopez amassed 472 steals over the course of 121 games, concluding her time at Regis with 3.9 steals per game. Her efforts led the Rangers to consecutive RMAC regular-season championships in the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons as well as the RMAC Shootout tournament title in the 2006-07 season.
 
Her list of individual honors is quite extensive and includes Kodak/WBCA All-America Honorable Mention in 2006-07. Additionally, she was named a Daktronics Third Team All-American in the 2006-07 season, adding an exclamation mark to her final year with the Regis program. She was also named a Daktronics All-North Central Region First Team honoree and a Second Team All-Region selection in the 2004-05 campaign. She also stands second all-time in RMAC women’s basketball history with 1,996 points.
 
Lopez will now be enshrined into the RMAC Hall of Fame during the 2024 RMAC Hall of Fame Ceremony and Awards Banquet on Thursday, July 11, inside the Colorado Springs Marriott in Colorado Springs, Colo. Doors will open at 5 p.m. MT with the awards and induction ceremony to begin at 6 p.m.
