CCU’s Raya Schulz Earns Week 2 RMAC Women’s Golfer of the Week Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Week Two RMAC Women’s Golfer of the Week award on Thursday. Colorado Christian’s Raya Schulz claims the award for the Cougars after an outstanding weekend in Arizona.
 
Women’s Golfer of the Week: Raya Schulz, Colorado Christian (Jr., Avondale, Arizona)
Schulz had a tournament to remember at the RJGA Shootout at the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona. On a trip back to her home state, Schulz was right at home, shooting a 75 on day one. She followed that up with a personal best 69 in round two, recording four birdies. Schulz finished even-par on the course for the weekend, earning the individual title for her first collegiate win. Behind Schulz, CCU recorded their first team win since March 2023.
