Braybrook earns NCAA provisional mark, Salvucci sets school record in Triple Jump

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Week 3 Women’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards, with CSU Pueblo’s Helen Braybrook and Chadron State’s Camila Salvucci claiming the conference’s latest awards.

Women’s Track Athlete of the Week: Helen Braybrook, CSU Pueblo (Sr., Frieston, England)
Braybrook delivered a stellar performance this past week in the Colorado Classic. The All-American broke the CSU Pueblo school record in winning the women’s invite mile. Her time of 4:49.12 also was an NCAA provisional mark.

Honorable Mention: Anna Fauske, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs

Women’s Field Athlete of the Week: Camila Salvucci, Chadron State (Fr., Neuquen, Argentina)
Salvucci set a Chadron State freshman record with her winning performance in the triple jump at the Dave Little Open this past week in Spearfish, South Dakota with a jump of 11.71 meters. She also finished in third place in the 200 meters at the meet with a time of 27.60.

Honorable Mention: Alexis Monson, Westminster University
