Colorado Mesa’s Martinez Garners Women’s Wrestler of the Week Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Mesa’s Jennesis Martinez is the latest RMAC Women’s Wrestler of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. Martinez, a 103-pound wrestler claims the latest Wrestler of the Week award after completing her home dual career undefeated.  
 
Women’s Wrestler of the Week: Jennesis Martinez, Colorado Mesa (R-Sr., 103, Albuquerque, New Mexico)
Martinez continued her strong season with an impressive 4-0 record after securing a pin over Adams State’s Katelyn Faczak in 4:14. The redshirt senior, ranked No. 8 in the nation at 103 pounds by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), showcased her dominant skills once again. With her latest victory, Martinez closed out her home dual career in style, finishing her time in Brownson Arena 7-0.
