COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Oklahoma Christian University junior Vanessa Weatherford scored six wins (four individual, two relay) during September’s competitions to claim the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s first women’s swimming & diving weekly honor, announced Thursday, which recognized all September competitions.

Weatherford won three events in Oklahoma Christian’s triangular against RMAC members Texas-Permian Basin and Nebraska-Kearney. She grabbed individual wins in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.09) and the 50-yard butterfly (25.96) and was the final leg in the Eagles’ winning 200-yard freestyle relay. Weatherford also claimed wins in the 100-yard freestyle (52.34) and 100-yard butterfly (58.36) at OC’s Sam Freas Invitational and was a member of the winning 100-yard freestyle relay team and third-place 200-yard medley relay group.
