COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Simon Fraser University freshman Dominik Kwiecien claims the latest edition of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week awards, for the period Oct. 6-19, presented Thursday.

Dominik Kwiecien, Simon Fraser (Freshman, Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada) Kwiecien won the 500-yard freestyle event and posted an NCAA Division II B Qualifying mark in Simon Fraser’s triangular against UC San Diego and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Oct. 18 in La Jolla, California. In his 500 free victory, his 4:38.80 was a personal best and shaved more than 13 seconds off his previous best mark in the event. Kwiecien added a Division II B qualifying 15:53.12 in the 1650-yard freestyle event, finishing third overall with the RMAC’s best time in the event so far this season.
