COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Mesa University seniors Olivia Hansson and Kenya Meyer are the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s second women’s swimming & diving weekly honorees, announced Thursday.
Swimmer
Olivia Hansson, Colorado Mesa (Senior, Kivik, Sweden)
Hansson posted four event victories during CMU’s Intermountain Shootout against BYU and Adams State. She won the 200 freestyle (1:48.53) and 1000 freestyle (9:57.07) on Friday before taking the 500 freestyle (4:49.95) and 400 individual medley (4:26.94) on Saturday, with all those altitude-adjusted times landing her NCAA “B” cut marks. Hansson won the 1000 freestyle by seven seconds and the 500 freestyle by five seconds.

Diver
Kenya Meyer, Colorado Mesa (Senior, Bozeman, Montana)
Meyer won the 3-meter event at CMU’s Intermountain Shootout against BYU, capping a strong start to her 2025-26 campaign. She scored 440.25 points on 11 dives in the 3-meter competition to sail past the NCAA qualifying standard (420 points) in her first outing. Meyer then added a second-place finish in the 1-meter competition, scoring 242.70 points on six dives.
