RMAC Champions travel to California to start tournament

INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team, the 2025 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament champions, were selected as the No. 10 seed in Super Region 4 of the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship, which begins Friday at campus sites across the country. 

UCCS (11-5-4), the RMAC regular-season co-champions as well, were the only RMAC team selected to the 40-team field. In men's soccer Super Region 4 is composed of teams from the RMAC, Lone Star Conference, California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), and the Pacific West Conference. 

The Mountain Lions will face No. 7 seed Cal State Los Angeles (8-4-6) in a first-round game at 4 p.m. (MT) at Toro Stadium, host of the No. 2 seed Cal State Dominguez Hills, who the winner of Friday's first round game will face at 4 p.m. on Sunday. UCCS is making its third-straight appearance in the tournament and seeking its first victory. Cal State Los Angeles has faced two RMAC teams this season, tying both Colorado School of Mines and MSU Denver during a Colorado road trip in September. 

NCAA Men's Division II Soccer Championships set for December in Colorado Springs

The 2025 Division II Men's Soccer Championship will conclude its run at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, the host of both the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's & Women's Soccer Championships. The men's championships national semifinals will be played on Friday, Dec. 12, followed by the national championship on Sunday, Dec. 14. Ticket information for the national championship will be available at NCAA.com at a later date.

NCAA Division II Championships to air free of charge on NCAA platforms

Divisions II and III will livestream more than 1,200 championship games free to fans for the 2025-26 academic year. This streaming initiative will enhance the visibility and accessibility of Division II and III championships.
Through a partnership with Hudl and TNT Sports, all rounds of team championships not already covered by existing ESPN or CBS agreements will be streamed free of charge on a centralized platform powered by Hudl. Fans will be able to watch these games via ncaa.com/champs-pass and the NCAA Championships Pass app, available on smart TVs.
