COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Postseason action continues this weekend as the 2025 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournaments get underway. 14 RMAC institutions will also make a push to qualify for the 2025 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championship this weekend in Pueblo, Colorado at the 2025 South Central Regional Championship.
It was a slow week on the national rankings front, with no updated polls released for winter sports or cross country. This week nine teams across four fall sports were featured in their respective sports’ national rankings.
Women’s Soccer and Football each had three teams ranked, Men’s Soccer had two, and Volleyball had one team nationally ranked.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
The ninth women’s soccer national coaches' poll from United Soccer Coaches features four RMAC squads. The RMAC Women’s Soccer Tournament kicks off with Adams State University hosting Colorado State University Pueblo on November 7. The tournament continues next week with the championship match being played on Saturday, November 15.
Colorado School of Mines remained among the top 10 squads this week, earning a No. 7 ranking. The University of Colorado Colorado Springs stayed at No. 14, and Colorado Mesa is No. 23. Fort Lewis College received votes in the poll.

MEN’S SOCCER
Two RMAC Men’s Soccer teams were ranked in this week’s national coaches' poll from United Soccer Coaches, and additional team received votes in the poll. The RMAC Men’s Soccer Tournament kicks off on November 9 with Westminster hosting CSU Pueblo at noon and Regis University hosting Colorado Mesa University at 1:00 p.m.
Colorado State University Pueblo jumped to the No. 14 spot after receiving votes last week, while UCCS was ranked No. 19 after not receiving any votes last week. Metropolitan State University Denver received votes in the poll.

VOLLEYBALL
Two RMAC Volleyball teams were featured in this week’s edition of the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s (AVCA)/TARAFLEX Division II National Coaches’ Poll. The RMAC Volleyball Championship is November 18-22, with the highest seeds hosting the first round of matches. UCCS and MSU Denver currently sit at the top of the conference standings with 9-1 records in league play.
MSU Denver remained in the No. 11 spot this week, while UCCS received votes in the poll.
On Friday, MSU Denver travels Durango to face Fort Lewis and UCCS faces Western Colorado in Gunnison. On Saturday, both teams continue their slate of road games; UCCS faces Fort Lewis and MSU Denver plays Western Colorado.
FOOTBALL
Two RMAC Football teams were ranked in this week’s American Football Coaches Association’s (AFCA) Division II National Coaches’ Poll, while three teams received rankings in the D2Football.com Top 25 Poll. CSU Pueblo and Chadron State College remain undefeated through week nine, while one-loss Western Colorado University stays firmly in contention as the race for the RMAC title intensifies.
In the AFCA Coaches’ Poll, CSU Pueblo claimed No. 6, Western Colorado moved to No. 11, and Chadron State received votes in the poll. In the D2Football.com Top 25; CSU Pueblo was ranked No. 7, and Western Colorado was No. 9. Entering the polls for the first time this season is Chadron State, who was ranked No. 22.
This Saturday, CSU Pueblo hits the road to face Colorado School of Mines, and Chadron State hosts Western Colorado in a league matchup featuring two ranked squads battling to stay in contention for the RMAC title.
