Offensive
Ivey Schmidt, Western Colorado (Senior, Guard, Grinnell, Iowa)
Schmidt averaged 23 points per game to power the Mountaineers’ two-win week. She scored 26 points in Western Colorado’s 71-68 overtime victory against MSU Denver. Schmidt made nine field goals, including three three-pointers, and was 5-of-6 at the free-throw line. She also had nine rebounds and three assists. Two days later, Schmidt scored 20 points in a 62-53 victory against Regis. She was 10-of-10 at the free-throw line and made two three-pointers on four field goals made. Schmidt also had an assist, a blocked shot, and a steal.

Elaina Watson, Adams State (Senior, Guard, Farmington, New Mexico)
Watson grabbed five steals in both games last week, leading Adams State to a 2-0 mark. In a 71-61 victory at New Mexico Highlands, she had five steals and six defensive rebounds in a 13-point, eight-rebound, four-assist outing. Watson’s second five-steal effort came in a 78-50 victory at Fort Lewis where she had 18 points, three rebounds, and four assists.
