COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Mesa University junior swimmer Guillaume Guth and junior diver Ryan Campbell claimed the latest edition of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s Swimmer of the Week awards following competitions of Nov. 24-Dec. 14 and announced Thursday.
Swimmer
Guillaume Guth, Colorado Mesa (Junior, Toulouse, France)
Guth claimed his second-straight weekly honor after winning two individual events and participating in four relays at the UNLV Invitational. He won both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races and helped the Mavericks win the 200-, 400-, and 800-yard freestyle relays as well as the 200- and 400-yard medley relays. Guth posted a 19.69 in the 50-yard preliminary race before winning in 19.88, and he won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 43.57. Guth and the Mavericks relay teams set times which met the NCAA qualifying standard in all 14 opportunities throughout the three-day meet.

Diver
Ryan Campbell, Colorado Mesa (Senior, Delmar, New York)
Campbell finished second in the 1-meter and third in the 3-meter diving events at the UNLV Invitational. His scores in both events met the NCAA qualifying marks, with a 318.95 in the 1-meter finals and a 308.08 in the 3-meter finals.
