Mavericks guard Rowland averages 25 points on the road; Grizzlies guard Watson averages five steals on the weekend

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Mesa’s sophomore guard Mason Rowland and Adams State’s senior guard Elaina Watson nab the fourth edition of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball weekly honors of the 2025-26 season, presented by Genesee Nutrition.  
 
Offensive
Mason RowlandColorado Mesa (R-Sophomore, Guard, Durango, CO)

In Colorado Mesa’s pair of road games this weekend, Rowland was an offensive force in wins at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and Colorado Christian. In the 72-47 win at UCCS, she scored 26 points, dished four assists, and recorded three steals. She then posted 24 against the Cougars, while gathering four more assists. On the weekend, Rowland averaged 25 points, while shooting 51% from the field, 55% from the three-point line, and went number-for-number from the free throw line.

Defensive
Elaina WatsonAdams State (Senior, Guard, Farmington, NM)

Watson helped lead the Grizzlies to an undefeated weekend by supplying strong defensive support in road wins at Colorado School of Mines and Metropolitan State University of Denver. The senior out of Farmington, New Mexico, averaged five steals and 1.5 blocks per game. Against the Orediggers, she posted seven steals, four defensive rebounds, and a block to help the Grizzlies win 75-68. At MSU Denver, Watson grabbed an additional four defensive rebounds, added three more steals, and blocked two more shots in a 77-67 win.
