COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its first RMAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week awards of the 2025 season on Monday. Colorado Mesa sweeps the awards, with attacker Caroline Ohngemach claiming the offensive award and midfielder Ali Bryant earning the defensive honor.
Offensive Player of the Week: Caroline Ohngemach, Colorado Mesa (Sr., Attack, Wayne, New Jersey)
Ohngemach kicked off her season in impressive fashion as the Mavericks faced off against Rockhurst and Missouri Western State. She registered five points in her season debut against Rockhurst, contributing three goals and two assists. The senior then put on a show against Missouri Western, netting a career-high five goals and leading the Mavericks to a 15-12 victory over the Griffons. During the week, Ohngemach tallied 13 shots on goal (.867), 10 points, eight goals, seven draw controls, and five caused turnovers.
Honorable Mention: Jordan Williamson, Westminster.
Defensive Player of the Week: Ali Bryant, Colorado Mesa (Sr., Midfield, Huntington Beach, California)
Bryant was an unstoppable force for the Mavericks in the opening games of 2025. The senior led or co-led her team across multiple categories, tallying ten draw controls, seven ground balls, and five caused turnovers. On the offensive end, she contributed six points with two goals and a team-high four assists, helping propel the Mavericks to a 1-1 record for the weekend.
Honorable Mention: Ella Mathews, Westminster.
