COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Adams State University’s Isaiah Gamez is the 2024-25 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Wrestler of the Year, the league announced Thursday. Additionally, 20 student-athletes were named to the All-RMAC first and second teams. The RMAC Men’s Wrestling Major Awards and All-RMAC rosters are nominated and voted on by the league’s eight head coaches.

Gamez was voted the RMAC Men’s Wrestler of the Year with a 14-2 record this season. The redshirt junior is undefeated in both RMAC and regional competition, leading Adams State to three team wins this season. With his perfect 7-0 RMAC record, the 125-pound wrestler ranks fifth in NCAA Division II, according to the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) rankings. His First Team All-RMAC selection is the second of his career.

Bowman claims the RMAC Freshman of the Year crown for the ThunderWolves after leading them to a 3-4 conference record and a 9-7 overall record. The 133-pound freshman was undefeated in RMAC duals this season, with one win coming by tech fall and five wins coming by decision.

Colorado School of Mines head coach Austin DeVoe is the RMAC Coach of the Year after guiding the Orediggers to the RMAC regular season title. His squad dominated their competition, cruising to a flawless 7-0 record in RMAC duals and a 13-2 overall record. Behind DeVoe, the Orediggers are the 16th-ranked team in the NWCA rankings. Colorado School of Mines holds five roster spots on the All-RMAC teams, the most of any institution.

Seven of the league’s eight institutions are represented on the All-RMAC rosters. Colorado School of Mines leads the way with five, while Chadron State and Western Colorado secure four roster spots.
